To be candid, this dream has been nestled in my heart for nearly a decade, but I never knew how to initiate the process, and it never seemed like the right time.
However, dreams often reach a pivotal moment when a life situation or circumstance propels you towards them or forces you to abandon them. For me, that moment came when I read an article in which Jada Pinkett Smith described her ongoing battle with hair loss and saw her shaved head. Witnessing her bald scalp brought tears to my eyes, as I understood the painful journey that led her to that point and recognized the significant impact hair has on a woman’s self-esteem.
From that moment, I committed to pursuing my dream of developing a hair business that would support individuals experiencing hair loss and damage, while also providing emotional support to bolster their self-esteem. After much prayer, scientific research, and guidance from others, Nywele Advanced Hair Solutions, LLC was born.
